Exposition on Prelude: Forget about it...
This is the first time I actually had to scrap the original comic drawing and redo it. The only part that exists from the first one is the first line.
Late? Whatever do you mean? It's still Weds! ^_~
For me, this was another case of the comic looking butt ugly when I drew it, and a lot better when it was cleaned up. It doesn't look fantastic. A subpar today, really, but it looks better than it did.
Experimenting with angle type stuff now. The long one with Zack across from Sephiroth is nifty, and ditto for the narrowed Seph eyes. Those things just look plain creepy, though.
I especially like the last panel, with Zack looking forlorn, almost like he is about to cry. Not really cry, but it's a silent moment for the past that's gone. If you read the text at the bottom of the comic, you know what I mean.
Tomorrow or Friday will have the closing image to Prelude, and then we start Chapter One on Monday! Too sweet!

Exposition on Prelude: A Lesser Man?
Yay, Ginny's back from vacation! I know some of you missed me, too, so *grin*. This won't be random exposition about my life, so let's get to the proper meat of it.
OK, notice how it says "Spoiler Alert" in big, bold, red letters? Yeah, every time there is going to be a game spoiler, I'll warn you. So you've been warned. Heh.
There's not much to say about today's. I wanted to emphasize the harshness of Sephiroth, of the character shift the Sephiroth Author created. You'll notice we have a repentant Sephiroth on our hands. I was not the Sephiroth Author, so don't jump on my case. Frankly, I think it's an intriguing idea. Plus, he still has some hellicious moments later.
